Cotton Ball Snow Shovelling

Safety First! Make sure to tell your caregiver what activity your starting! This is an active game, clear some space so you have lots of room to move around!

Materials Needed:

  • Cotton Balls

  • Spoon(s)

  • Timer

  • Bowl(s)

What to Do

  1. Gather all your materials

  2. Set up your station in an area where you have lots of room!

  3. Have a family member or friend on Zoom get a timer ready.

  4. Spread out the cotton balls over the surface.

  5. Set-Up bowls for each person playing.

  6. Give each person a spoon.

  7. With a countdown, start your timer and each person tries to collect as many cotton balls as possible in 1 minute into their bowl!

  8. Make sure to only use your spoon to pick up the cotton balls, not your hands!

  9. Good luck!!!

No cotton balls? No problem! Roll up some socks, place the around on the floor and use large serving utensils instead of spoons!

Looking to adapt the game? Tape cups at the end of a table and try blowing as many cotton balls across the table into the cups as possible in 1 minute.
