Welcome to CQ Eastern Ontario
Summer Camper Programs
We facilitate a 1-week Overnight Summer Camp Program, hosted at Camp Opemikon, Ontario (1 Hour 15 minutes from Ottawa). Camp Quality Eastern Ontario offers a wide range of programming for different needs and age groups; like swimming, canoeing, arts & crafts, and campfires.
Our summer program is offered to campers from the following regions:
Leeds and Grenville
Lennox and Addington County
Prescott and Russell
Price Edward County
Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry
Campers outside these areas may not have access to camp transportation, or may live closer to another Camp Quality camp.
Community Family Programs (Fun Days)
Our Community Family Programs are 1-day camp-style events that happen throughout the year for the entire family and our volunteers. Programs in the past have included: Museums visits, Swimming, Outdoor Activities and more! Our Community Family Programs are currently being offered in Ottawa and surrounding area.
All of our programs are 100% free to attend.
Sarah started volunteering with Camp Quality Eastern Ontario in the summer of 2007 as a Lifeguard. After that experience, she was hooked on the magic of camp and has held positions of companion and super companion before joining the Camp Organizing Committee as Assistant Director, then Co-Director, and now as the Director. Sarah is a community pharmacist who enjoys travelling and the outdoors.
Sarah’s favourite thing about camp is seeing campers relax and feel safe to be themselves in a supportive environment.
